Fibre separation

£60 per sample

Polymer fibres are routinely found in synthetic surfaces and subtle differences in fibre characteristics can significantly alter the surface’s behaviour. Fibre separation can be used to measure the fibres present in a surface and allows basic assessment of fibre type (size, shape, length and quantity). Fibre separation allows us to determine the fibre mass percentage in addition to being a precursor to further fibre analysis and characterisation (fibre morphology and FTIR).
