GWTT (in-situ torque testing)

£POA

Rotational movements are commonly found during different horse sports and the amount of grip will influence how the horse turns on the surface and whether this may put them at a higher risk of injury. The Glen Withy Torque Tester (GWTT) was recently designed to measure rotational grip of equine surfaces. This equipment can be taken on site to measure a set number of locations across the surface to assess the amount and the variation in rotational grip. This may be of benefit to artificial surface owners who are concerned about their surface having too much grip or being too slippery.
