Organic matter

£35 per sample

Unwanted organic matter in a surface can be detrimental to the surface by causing it to become slippery. Examples of unwanted organic matter would be horse faeces and manure, leaves and other vegetative materials that have inadvertently accumulated in the surface. Measurement of organic matter found in a surface can be of benefit during any type of assessment and should be removed prior to further tests. Organic matter is measured using a muffle furnace.
